Shed Seven have announced that they are to reform for a one-off Greatest Hits tour this winter.
The Brit Pop pioneers, who enjoyed a run of fifteen consecutive Top 40 hits including the classics,
Going For Gold, Chasing Rainbows, Getting Better & Disco Down, will take to the stage this November & December – four years after their original split.
The line-up will include guitarist Paul Banks - the first time he’s appeared onstage with the Sheds since 1999. The five piece band will be completed by other original members Joe Johnson, Alan Leach, Tom Gladwin, and of course Rick Witter.
Rick Witter " We have almost constantly been asked by the loyal shed heads to reform for a few gigs since the split, but we felt we needed a well earned break. However, after 4 years we feel that going out for a 2 week tour & playing all the hits without any outside pressure will be a great way to end 2007.
Plus having Paul back in the line up for the first time in 8 years will make it extra special.
See you down the front"
